Apple Blossom Time

This spring screenprint features my travel sketch of apple orchards, fences and billboards in central California in bright, light colors: black over pastel pink and green.

I used sunlight to expose the stencils (one for each color) onto a fine mesh silkscreen - a fun, imprecise developing process that brings a nice vintage, distressed look to the prints.

My quick, inky line drawing is printed in black over pastel green and pink on white cardstock with a very faint blue tint and lots of breathing room around the edges.

Stock: acid free 60# cardstock with a subtle pale blue tint
Framing: fits a standard US document frame
