Wherever people gather, so do abandoned shopping carts.
I drew this grocery-getter creature and liked him so much I made him a screenprint: soft silver ink on flannel gray 4x6" corduroy textured cardstock, hand-printed with my Gocco toy printing press.
This series of prints has been featured in Pikalands "Gocco" themed Pika Package; at Fleeting Pages, a pop-up art & book shop taking over a former Border's bookstore in Pittsburgh; and at Sweet's Workshop's second annual "My Goodness, My Gocco" exhibition in Sydney, Australia.
My delicate illustration is reproduced in crisp, perfect detail with a subtle shimmer. You can almost hear the metallically clanky, clunky hum as the creature rolls amiably across the parking lot, one lopsided wheel spinning unhelpfully the wrong way, just missing by a wire the vulnerable bumper of a parked car.
This listing is for one fine art print from a limited edition of 60. (Thrift store frame not included).
